Service Description

This mentorship space is for emerging and early-career therapists who understand that Black-centered therapy is not something fully taught in graduate programs. Much of what shapes effective Black clinical work navigating racial dynamics in the room, holding space for collective trauma, understanding code-switching, honoring cultural nuance, and practicing without pathologizing survival is rarely centered in traditional training models. Here, we speak honestly about what it means to practice therapy rooted in Black healing. We explore professional identity, ethical responsibility, business development, boundaries, and the realities of working within systems that were not designed for us. This is not clinical supervision and does not fulfill licensure requirements. It is mentorship designed to strengthen your clinical voice, expand your cultural lens, and support you in building work that is aligned, ethical, and grounded in community.
